I think this probably will be the last promo slot in the US for a long time. Now it depends on the radio. I would be great if they use this song in a commercial, that can be a huge boost sometimes.

Avril just posted on facebook that she loved L.A, and he also attended her performance on the Today Show, they seem to have a really good relationship. L.A better spend all his money for the promo and payola for Avril to pull off a huge hit.

I've always said that they have a tight bond. That is why, as much as you guys say Epic sucks, I'm happy she is there. L.A won't screw her over and I'm sure he has a plan in place.

Promo at all is better than no promo, but I always thought promo should wait until after the song has good AI. If not, people won't recognize it and won't buy it. Most songs take multiple listens to grow on people. If they are hearing it for the 1st time, they will be less inclined to buy it. If the song had good radio support, the performances could be that final push.

Radio will just have to play its roll now

I actually think it will have more effect when the song has less AI. Look at Robin Thicke for example. If the song had good enuff AI, i think it can be stable and climb by itself.

Robin is a rare case.

I could be wrong, but from what I've noticed, songs get a bigger boost when the song already has like 50 Million AI. Obviously, if the song has 120 Million AI, most people would've heard it over and over again by that point.

Radio is the best possible promo though cause it reaches the most people on a daily basis.

I think the us promo is over they should save tv shows for the Album release!
However i think she should perfom at The Voice and Awards like the Much Music Video Awards & The Teen Choice Awards
