I don't think even think of that as an option, because I know that won't happen
I think a big emotional ballad is exactly what fans and the GP want from Britney, so I can actually see it having a lot of success given that it's better than My Baby.
i think wiliam will go for a ballad song .... you know we had scream n shout .. and we ll have ooh la la .... so her first single must be somenthing unique and different
I think a ballad as the first single would flop. Britney is not that type of artist who can release a ballad as a lead single and slay. She's known for her uptempos.
She needs to release an infectious uptempo smash and THEN she can follow it up with a ballad.
I'm here for a mid-tempo ballad, preferably an electro-ballad a la I Run Away. I think it'd do well in the fall season and then an uptempo for the second single to coincide with the spring time where dance songs tend to do better.
