I think front loading is almost inevitable for stars like her and Britney though, in the sense that they have big fanbases so they have huge starts. But that doesnt mean it cant have longevity if it latches on to the public and has a big cultural moment (hopefully at her VMA launch)

Exactly. Front-loaded sales are the downside of having such a big fanbase.
She can always be smart and get the lead single out in July, so it can do it's thing for one or two months before giving it at a boost at the VMAs.
