It actually makes sense. 100 views easily equates to $1.29 in ad revenue, meaning the song is being paid for. Maybe not by the people, but by the advertisers and the websites which the people use. People are acting like it is unfair when in actuality it is incredibly so.

Sales are not as important as they were a few years ago now with the growing popularity of the streaming. And artists get payed, even when their songs has been played for "free" on youtube or spotify, so it kinda makes sense for them to include it into the certifications.

So yeah, MTN was a mini hit.
