Asking for monetary compensation for something as traumatizing as rape or sexual abuse is disgusting to me, sorry. I really don't care to hear anything else. That's just my opinion.

If this was true why not help put him away when he was on trial? I remember with the Coach at Penn State when those boys got the chance they all came out and confessed what happened to them, but Wade testified essentially helping him "get away" with it. Chile bye, **** his broke ass. Notice he's going after money! He's going to get zip zero!

I don't think it should be illegal, as long as they are just sleeping beside him there's no crime being committed. MJ was obviously a quirky kind of guy.
Obviously I can't say whether Michael did it or not, but some of the comments here are so ignorant of what sex abuse victims go through. It is not uncommon for people molested as children to deny anything happened well into adulthood. It's a tremendous burden on your psyche and victims can put up a mental block. Are any of you aware that most cases of sexual abuse go unreported?
Honestly, the fact that the housekeeper testified years ago that she say Michael being inappropriate with Wade raises my eyebrows. There's a lot in this story that seems fishy on his end, but the fact that there's an independent third party witness to this seems compelling.

Cause if he was telling the story because he now feels comfortable about it then I dont see why he wants money since money is not a problem for him. Maybe it is a little odd, but I don't really see anything wrong with demanding money as a means of compensation for sexual abuse. In criminal court the abuser would be put in prison, and under civil court they could be fined heavily for emotional distress. But okay.
It is sad that MJ is still dealing with issues like this after his death. He never got peace when he was alive, and now...

I've been molested and I would never ask for a monetary compensation for justice to be served. The only way someone could possibly heal me is to rid my brain of the traumatizing memories that haunt me every single day. My dad molested me and I never actually opened up about it until after he died, but I did that because it's something I had to do in order to possibly progress in life. The last thing on my mind was my father, though dead, being charged. It was the last thing on my mind. I know people handle things differently, but if it really were about him being traumatized and just wanting peace he could've just came forward and confessed to what MJ and not demanded money.
