And like I said when the new rules were announced, that overexposure rule is sooooo dumb. Just because we're creative enough to come up with fun/different promo ideas, we shouldn't have to suffer on the charts... ESPECIALLY to people who do nothing but give up some points (and who knows if they're really even giving them up).

I guess that's what it is but their is also a limit of three articles a day rule so I don't see why we have to lose chart positions because of it.

I tried changing the formula this round. Calm the frig if you don't like it, this is just one chart of one game and it can be changed back.

Overexposing is having your fave everywhere. Suppose you don't have points and need to rely on articles, how are you suppose to chart in order to get points when you're overexposing?
The rules/formula make no sense whatsoever.
He even talked about trying to cut down the article posting/over exposing by 15% more than it was already at.
BE HONEST:
Do you think a game is fair when a label having a lot of points, and throwing points at a song has more influence then someone here POSTING THE WHOLE WEEK and taking their time to promote their song has less?

If throwing points would have make you #1, in that case Beyonce would have been #1, but she's not even charting... Did I look pressed for it?
Sometimes songs works sometimes no.
And when it's a duet a can be overexposed really fast, I mean they are two people promoting the song in the same time.

You can just shut up because you weren't the only people doing promo and personally if you put your promo lists on top of one another it's just a mess and way too much. Other people did promo too and I'm sorry if for one week your song isn't #1, suck a dick.

"So I'm sure many of you remember this game. Basically you get to make a label and bid for music artists to sign them to your label. Then you can release their music (making up all the details), go on tour, do publicity stunts, etc etc etc. Since I didn't really follow the original that closely, this version will be very different from Demise's. "
We were playing the game, and our song got penalized

But there shouldn't be overexposing when you playing the game the way it should be played
And if throwing points doesn't have that effect why are artists who didn't post once this week ahead of us?

Throwing points does not influence more than promo in the thread, I'm sorry if you have too much of an ego to throw points but of course they're going to help. The songs that charted high didn't chart high only because of the points thrown. If I took out all the points thrown Britney would have still been #1 regardless.
You were "playing the game" so much it got annoying.

It's not fair because I've been trying to make creative articles cause I had 0 points for this week. I think the more creative and more articles you make should determine the position more than the points you spend, imo. But I'm not even sure what the current formula is.

actually, this is a good point. The key of the game is to promote promote promote. How is a label supposed to know their over-promo costs them positions
I'm just not sure how the deductions work is all. Although I do remember the time "backlash" was accounted into the chart formula, but as of late that hasn't been placed into the formula either...
my conclusion:
I remember Adam you saying their was too many singles going out each week, as now people just want quick bids for #1, and if they don't get it, move on to the next single next week. My overall thought is this game is a mess. I'm kind of stumped how to fix it though I'm sure Adam is just as stumped as I am

IT DOESN'T COUNT MORE.
Stop making **** up, promo in the thread has and will always count for by far the most in the formula. I changed the formula for one week so calm down if your song isn't at #1 every week.
iHype, I get you're "playing the game" but it's just been everywhere. I'm tired of changing the chart because someone isn't satisfied, this isn't a democracy. The chart is staying the same. It doesn't matter how much you say how unfair it is.
Also, I see you reporting me. If you go through all these posts and report any more of them I will kick you from the game, I never reported you when you personally insulted RudeBoy93. Good day.

Britney's promo list was NOTHING compared to Selena's especially not when hers was put together with Justin's.

If it doesn't count more than look at those lists.
How do those lists not overrule any other lists? Explanations.
