Guys, i was just thinking that with those new Billboard rules, Nicole can get a hit in the US.
Just look at Ciara's Body Part. She's somewhere near the 70s on iTunes, it has 11AI on radio, and due to the video having 5 million views, it debuted at #35 on Hot 100.
She can definitely do it. If Right There managed to crack the Top 40, she can ave a bigger hit.
Come on Nic. Prepare that summer anthem with a hot collabo and a spectacular video which will get you those youtube views

It's already summer so I think it's a little too late to prepare for a summer anthem unless they already have one planned, which I don't believe. We're not getting anything anytime soon at this rate.
I wonder if she'll ever release an album stateside.

But in all seriousness, she should feature wh*re far more, she shoudl try to get herself on Pitbull's, Flo Rida's etc. music and force will.i.am to release Far Away From Home atleast in the UK.
She needs some kind of exposure and in all selfishness, I need more music with her vocals on it

Do you really believe what you're saying? She can't even release a single properly in the UK where she's doing 'best'. Personally I think that music hasn't been her passion for a long time, 'money' has been her passion. She gets lots of money but she doesn't even spend a bit for her own career. And I have to say, she doesn't even care about her fans when she doesn't release something new, like she sees us '$$$$$'. She could really get big after X Factor but she definetely screwed. And her stupid manager has a lot in this thing too. I still love Nicole but musically I'll never believe in her again. And if they don't start promoting the album and the single in this summer, this will be even worse than Killer Love era and she will never have a ww album.
And if she goes back to PCD, I don't know what to say.. All I know is people in America will laugh at her and she will lose her fans in Europe.

Thing is that Ciara also isn't the biggest star and she is already in the top 40, mainly based on radio and streams of her music video online. Nicole could benefit from that, she never seemed to have proper chart succes after real performances etc. so her best shot is to benefit from the new rules. I agree with what you said though, but we all know that the US will get a focus somehow this "era", so we somewhat can help her this time, not just with those 10.000 request links, but also by just watching the music video.
And I doubt she will lose that much if she would go back to PCD tbh, yeah soem will be mad, but once we get music and once they will be able to see her live, with most likely the chanc ein their own country, theyw ill calm down and crawl back quietly, just to atleast be able to hear and see her in a proper era, rather than the half baked once, she has as solo artist.

I don't want to see her in PCD after all the things she said about it. I mean she said my mom didn't like the stuff that I'm wearing and she also said she didn't belong to that group. At least she should have one great era to go back to PCD or you know what everybody will say about Nicole. And I don't think any of us would like to see comments like that but they will be the truth.
I really don't care about it. I mean she has everything to top the charts right now. She just needs to put some money and passion in her job! And lol at Inverted thinking she doesn't have that much money. Yeah, Interscope gets lots of money from. We actually don't know that for sure too but maybe they don't take that much from her as a solo artist. But it doesn't matter. She probably got lots of money left from PCD days. She has millions of special performances. And don't forget about that 1 million $ gig. She's been working with Herbal Essences for 2 years. She worked with London Fog and lots of things like this. And she did X Factor for 2 years. I mean this is funny, Kelly Rowland is doing worse than Nicole but she still puts more money and passion on her music and she STILL releases her stuff WW.
The biggest problem is her manager right now. I mean how can someone who think Nicole is doing great can help this situation? Nicole's doing worse now. They should've been more serious about her music career.
And now Britney, Beyonce, Katy and Lady Gaga are coming. Rihanna will probably release a new album soon too. And probably Adele will come after them. How could they waste this much free time? This is also very unprofessional.
I'm not expecting anything from Nicole right now. As I said before, I think she's not capable of giving a direction to her own career and that's why she has to find a great manager for herself and she has a bad one right now.

I agree, though i would not only blame Melissa, her label also still has a big hand in her career and they seems to just let her do random stuff, beside that, most artists attract managers that they feel comfortable with, Nicole felt good with Jeff Haddad, dumped him and now is with Melissa, who at certain points had the same approach. Her label should take control and just try to puppet her in some way, they easily know what to do, but for some reason just don't bother.

Yeah, I forget about them. I thought they started to care about her when they put will.i.am and Nicole in a studio to finish the album but she's probably recording it again now, lol.

The weird thing is that they put her into a studio with a exc. producer, Redone for KL and will.i.am for this new album, she records basically an complete album with them and then randomly starts recording again. I think she either pays the studio time (partly) out of her own pocket, or she she gets a green light to record more from the label down the line or a combination of both, because I can't see why an commercial business record label like Interscope would invest loads of money in studio time with various big producers, just to see it fade away in several shelved products.

Yeah, it's just ridiculous. She needs to get back her passion about music.
They will probably release a new single at the end of the summer or after the summer. I think they're waiting for some shows to start again for some big performances because they're probably afraid of flopping without performances. But if they were smart enough and if they really have some club banging songs like Antony said, then they HAVE TO release that damn song for the summer.
