When did anyone say it was smashing? We said that it will smash, it obviously hasn't yet. Though, I don't think it's doing nearly as bad as you make it sound. The video isn't even out yet

To be honest, it was doing pretty well last week. Now I'd use the world "Stable" to describe its performance. If anyone says it is doing "great" now that would be wrong. Saying it is failing right now would also be wrong though as its still Top 40 on iTunes with little AI or promo.

Well, many songs stall for a while before continue to rocket up the chart: Suit and Tie for example, it received many negative updates, it even had a negative bullet, but then the video and Grammy performance revived the song's airplay.

Too bad the next Grammys are next February. I don't think the song will be "stable" by then

Still I think it's quite early to tell this song's fate, not to mention radio is very unpredictable.

On a side note, Idole finale is May 14/15, can Epic or L.A please get her a performance, that will be great. May has so many chance for promo: Billboard music award, the voice, Idol, DWTS, I want her to perform on all of them

Sadly I don't think she's gonna perform on Idol.. Look at their performers this season...

I think "The Voice" is more likely than "Idol" Shakira is on Epic too. Plus, she was on it before.
