Well if you release a single, that takes away five points. An album, ten points. On the first page their's a list of promo slots you can buy. You earn points by where your singles and albums go on the charts, keep in mind, you need good promo for your things to do well on the charts.

That is part of it. Another part of it is posting promo in the thread in the form of articles, etc. If you want examples you can find this sort of promo on almost every single page of the thread.
Biebs hit up Time Square this morning, to promote his new album. He arrived in Time Square early in the morning, and performed "Cassanova", "Come & Get It", and lastly a song called "Thrill Seeker" - the name of his album. His performance was amazing, and we never knew Justin could use the Piano a bit! He put on quite the show for his fans, who'd been waiting for HOURS just to see him do a small line up. He signed some posters and albums too, before shortly leaving so they could get back to the news. But overall everyone enjoyed his show he put on, including the News Cast. One said "Wow, that kid has talent! My daughter loves him too! Wish him the best of luck." and many Audience Members couldn't quiet down for even a minute. At the end of the day, Bieber put up a good show and had Times Square roaring with happiness.
