Besides the 200 million albums reach, every quote is correct. She IS a legend, and people get away with doing stuff like that all the time. I don't see how it's such a significant difference from doing "LEGENDIAH" or "Legend Mariah".
Isn't she in the to 10/20 most successful artists of all time, too? I think that's grounds of calling someone a legend.

6th Hot 100 Artist of All-Time (2nd Female), Most Female #1's, Most Solo Artist #1's, Most Successful Artist of the 90's, Only Artist To Have a #1 Every Year for a Decade, and I can bring up multiple receipts on her Networth. Don't mind Duca, he's a known Mariah hater.
But I'm sayin'! How was that worth a WP? Is calling Mariah a legend really enough to make someone pressed to hit report
