And that tour is probably, as someone else said, a mini promo tour around the US and a few other counties as part of album promo, Lane already said that Gaga would be back in the UK in either June or July, but that was before the incident so I'm not sure if its been pushed back, although everything seems to be on track at this point

The best thing that came out of Jo was making the others look "outdated", as Billboard said.

I mean, it's actually hilarious when you think about it. Nicki turned up with Toys R Us glued to her and Katy had a block of cheese melted onto her head. Meanwhile, Gaga dressed down as a man in a full on method performance. Doing a country/rock number with Brian May was the icing on the cake whilst the others were clambering to do big dance/pop tunes with rent a rappers.

I agree, but June/July are still 2/3 months away so it would have been 5/6 months since she had the operation.

If the queen's fashion moments/performances haven't destroyed her brand then I don't know what will. I doubt the Gaga image would be tarnished by that haha

Throughout her career, Gaga has pushed things "too far".

When the Paparazzi video came out, people were put off by the darker eccentricity.
When Bad Romance debuted, people were put off by her roaring vocals and weirder lyrics.
When Alejandro's video came out, people were put off by her going dark/gothic and provocative.
When she wore meat, people were put off by her nerve.
When BTW came out, people were put off by her being so gay.
etc.

At each stage, more bandwagoners jump ship because they can't handle how actually weird/different Gaga is. They prefer their quirky popstars to remain pretty and ultimately safe. They don't like being challenged in any way.
