If the Grammys wanted to, they could just pay her dust, but they give her the accolades instead.

Anyways, it is true Katy is heavily backed by the gp but unfortunately she didn't have the luxury of competing in a Dance category before the rule change and doesn't have any outstanding collaborations that have helped aide Rihanna, her grammy winning total. I'm not even gonna get into her music videos, because none of them were as good as WFL so it's a given why she never won in that category

Okay so... One of those three is still shared and that category doesn't care who is the lead as long as it's rap/sung, and the music video one... It's not like she directed the video. And the video is a rip-off of another, so it's hardly the best accomplishment.

She has a good amount of Grammys compared to others, but she also has an average of 1 grammy per album. (And two of her Grammys are features). So that's hardly darling status.

Of course she is, she has won at least 1 Grammy every year since the GGGB era and performed twice during the 2011 and 2012 show. Not to mention she performed in 2008 and was also invited to perform in 2009 but we know what happened there, so yes. She is a blooming Grammy darling.
