I just don't want something really tacky that includes words like "gang" "rich" "money" exc. :/
& I said Ontama because it sounds professional.. Like Interscope, Mercury & so on.
I like your idea kane! but Ontama Records sounds better. Here for it though. If it's "rich gang" or "pretty gang" records or something i might shoot myself.

She already said in the interview last week that Birdman has a production company coming out called Rich Gang. And she said Pretty Gang won't fit because of the guys.
Although the rapper had plenty of lyrical moments earlier in her career—particularly on the now-classic Beam Me Up Scotty—and was an adroit rapper from a technical standpoint, "Monster" was the moment where she outshined the competition on a large stage without abandoning the very characteristics that made her rapping distinctive
NOW CLASSIC. MAN, BMUS was THAT MIXTAPE back then. Iconic in the rap world.
Nicki should name her record label Ontama Music Group (OMG). [On] ika [Ta] nya [Ma] raj. Just a thought, don't drag.
I like it, except for the OMG part.

I don't think it'd be Pretty Gang because Nicki changed the name of the label in the first place to appeal more to the males, & I don't think it'd be Rich Gang either because that's YMCMBs new name/slogan.
Once upon a time there lived a little bad bitch
I just pressed the buttons on my little gadget
Born in December cause I am a Sagit
Tarius, maybe just a little bi-curious
Yo, miney-mo-to-eenie-meanie
Your wish is my command I mean I really really mean it
Cause I am the lady that was on "I Dream of Genie"
They call it spaghetti but I call it linguini
Coke fizzles if you wanna get the sniffles
I got that wet-wet it could get wetter than a drizzle
Plus I got plenty no seeds in my twenty
And I just got them peanut butter crack sandwiches
You need a dopeman oh you need a snowman
I got that Lohan, weight like Rosanne
But ****ing with my money is a no-no man
I got them Barbarians they call me Conan
If Nicki released the above, it would be my favourite hip-hop song of hers.
Nicki needs to have better people around her - better managers, better songwriters/producers, and you know what, a better label. And she needs to get rid of these leeches sucking off her teets, like their mothers never fed them. (Yes I'm talking about S.B. - get a job you bum!)
No need to be so hostile Maelstrom. But i admit i see your point. I really like work and i wouldn't mind if she did 1 or 2 songs in a similar format to work. Emphasis on 1 or 2 though, i want nicki to focus more on lyrics than trying out/experimenting with new formats.

I think Iggy's benefited from not isolating herself in hip-hop/R&B features pre-debut album. It means she's an open book as far as her sound goes, and she will change it up. 'Work' is hip-hop with chilled pop moments and then some rave-y dance elements too. 'Bounce' is a pop-dance track. And nobody is going to bat an eyelid. She's a rapper that proudly has multiple sounds, and from her VEVO videos, she honestly doesn't give a crap what you think of her jumping sounds.
I definitely think Mercury Records UK learnt from Nicki in that respect, and made sure she explicitly says she's a genre-jumper and proud of it. I still shudder remembering when Kiss FM called Nicki "one of the biggest popstars on the planet" and she thought they were insulting her. As if she doesn't know what singles she's been releasing in the UK.
Okay enough Iggy talk! I just think it's cool there's finally somebody that's on the cusp of becoming the next great female rapper!
