I hope the Fairy type rumor is true (which I'm almost positive it is.)
For a while it seems a lot of fans have been wanting something to really change the metagame, and a new type definitely will. Just remember what happened when Steel/Dark was introduced.
Anyway, this rumor has so much evidence that can back it up it feels impossible to be false. And with the source himself being extremely reliable and accurate, I'm pretty happy tbh.
Oh, by the way, on Pokemon Online, one time I saw somebody going off when people were discussing music and dissing Rihanna. They were going IN on the Rihanna haters
So I decided to pm them and ask them if they knew what atrl was, and they told me they tried to get in last month but didn't get in, yet really wants an account.

I actually heard about ATRL on a Pokemon Forum (Serebii)
Me and Retro were frequent posters in the Pop Thread
So you guys do competitive battling here? I gave that up after Gen V began - it's just getting so complicated anymore to keep up with the tiers and which Pokemon are actually in them. One day you're fine and the next your main physical sweeper is banished to Uber territory.
But, I've been thinking of getting back into it soon.
My LIFE was competitive battling back in Gen IV. It was the best. I was on all of the sites, but I mostly posted on Nintendo's forums. We would have wacky tournaments, casual battles, cross-site tourneys and everything. I miss those days
I did Gen V for a bit, but it wasn't the same, and much of the community that I played with has moved on too.
I consider competitive pokemon like riding a bike though. Once you play for a while, it's hard to forget how to play. I can easily pick it up anytime really. I look forward to new types adding to the scene next gen too.
And why are you guys playing PO? I don't even play anymore, but I know Showdown is the most popular now.

nnn mess. it's always funny to see mainstream people talk about the pop girls
But seriously though, it's okay to disagree, but I think it's far too late to introduce another new type. Four four full generations the games have remained static in that aspect - previous releases have shown there are other ways to shake up the metagame if need be. Even if they wanted to, the only future type addition that would make much sense is Light; they have most of the rest of the things on earth covered.
Still no news about a burger pokemon? I swear Xtina would play pokemon X/Y just because that pokemon tbh. Mess....

So that Majinmew is actually the Mewtwo form, hmm...

I do agree that there are other ways to shake the metagame up.
However, I honestly hope the Fairy type is true. I don't even know why, though.
I just feel like it'd be a cool new addition and give the normal types that are forgotten a new typing. (A far better one, too.)
Sylveon has a little wing symbol next to it at the end of the most recent movie trailer, where all the other Eevees have a symbol relating to their type. So unless this Fairy type is true... it's Flying (but that has been pretty obvious for a while)
