I hope that he asks her about the development deal.

Is anybody else dissapointed that her Fox development deal fell through? I prefer music anyways, but I'm still a bit dissapointed. We don't really know for sure if it did fall through yet, but that's what it sounds like to me.

Yes, because from reading the reports, Hilary was going to have a lot of control over what show she wanted to do. They had so much faith in her that they were going to place her in a developed show if they couldn't find one for her.
I know everyone is all about Hilary singing. But, if she didn't want to do music, her being on TV every week would have been the next best thing.

So do you think it was Hilary's choice to cancel the development deal or 20th Century Fox's? Like you said the contract stated that they would add her to an existing show if her own t.v show didn't fall through so I don't see why they wouldn't do that if they couldn't come up with an idea for a new show.

I wonder if Hilary has been working on something according to the development deal and she cannot talk about it yet, sometimes those things happen, we never really know. I am still wondering what all those meetings were for that she took in that span of one week, that was very interesting to me, I think Hilary has a lot of things MAYBE in store for us that she cannot discuss. I still think she needs to do a movie since she doesn't know when she is going to start recording.

First of all I am happy she is now strictly music focused! Wants to record soon, that's really good news!
I'm agreeing with Luis that the deal has fell through, I mean if she had something works we would have had pilot news by now. That's kind of depressing. I feel for her.
It also seems like the book signing was really successful!
also it is great to see Ryan is still in the picture, thought he was gone..

I really hope you're right. I would still love to see her with a tv show along with music, but I think that is highly unlikely and has been from the start. She's enjoying motherhood. It would be awesome if she had a lot in store. In my honest opinon she didn't sound very motivated in that interview. If she wanted to record she could easily record instead of saying she doesn't know when she'll start. She's in no rush.

I cringed a bit when she said "Be able to come home and not work, also not such a big commitment" with the guest spots.
I did like how he asked about movies and acting, then she went straight to talking about music. Though I didn't like the whole "getting that itch" she needs to stop with that saying.

^ Yeah I was telling my mother that even though I was thrilled that she seems to be interested in just being about music now, it was kind of disheartening to hear her talk like that about acting... Like we all knew she hadn't wanted to commit to anything for a long period of time but for her to flat out say it, when she just signed a development deal for a sitcom 8 months ago was a little shocking.

I agree with everything you just said. Especially the bit about how she went straight into music. It felt like music was her 2nd priority after Luca. Usually her priority has been acting over singing, but the fact that she brought up music herself, it seems to be the other way around atm.

I can see the name "Stacey", and the word "revised".

well we know this meeting was for Two and a Half Men. What I'd really like to know is why she had to fly all the way to London for, just for a night. For that meeting.
the whole acting thing just doesn't seem to be working for her first NBC now Fox

Hilary is just too confusing.
She did like 8 meetings... Maybe one or two of them were related to the Two & A Half Men episode, another for that Save The Children thing she did. Now what could the other five or so (including the UK one) have been for....

Not really. She does like her a lot, but she definitely wonders how I still stan for her so much when she hasn't done anything in years.

It never was going to. Hilary is just not that committed. Even Wilmer found alternatives when his own show didn't go to pilot.
I was going to make a thread asking what network Hilary would sign a development deal with next.

I love the girl but... your completely right. I really was not expecting her to say, yeah Two and Half men and that's it besides recording. That threw me off, I was thinking after Two and a Half men are we just going to have candids until she starts recording. I wish she would say an approx time, or someone should say when do you want to actually release a song or something along those lines.
At the end of the interview with her talking about music she ends with, Two and Half men and I'm starting to work on my music again but who knows how long that's going to take. Did she mean to release an actual album or record?

I'm disappointed in Hilary. I don't think we'll be getting an album next year at all.

Right I was like - "Whoa this doesn't sound like Hilary at all." I thought she'd mention like auditioning for roles that she really likes or something.
Did anyone else notice that she interrupted the interviewer a few times during the interview with like thoughts she hadn't completed or beginning to answer the question before it was fully answered? I thought that was interesting...
Oh & I'm positive that she meant that comment towards the full album. My guess is she's going to start writing again and meeting with producers in the coming weeks and begin recording in a month or two (honestly hoping for sooner ).

So you think the deal fell through because Hilary couldn't commit?
