That backlash was media driven and really nothing more. I suspect it was more a media sensation about her stance than anything else. I would rather her lose some fans than be afraid to stand up for what she believes in. She doesn't put out music to please her critics or non fans
I suspect we may get that gospel album sooner than later as I think she will settle down to have babies in the next year or so. Mike's contract has 2 years left and I could see him retiring after especially with the injuries he has had for the last 2 seasons
