The Femme Fatale cover could've been better, but it's fine.

I don't think teaming up with will.i.am would be that bad, tbh. As long as she tries something different from Max & Luke's typical work.

Her team knew exactly what they were doing, they were organaized, commited with the project, scheduled events and shows for her to promote, etc.
It was Britney's fault, she didn't care all the hard job her team did for her.
Who was the one that wasn't in shape? Britney or her team?
Who was the one that didn't try on the "Femme fatale documental"? Britney or her team?
Who was the one that didn't put effort on stage? Britney or her team?
.. And BTW if you didn't like the album, once again its not her team's fault, it was Dr.luke's fault who by the way was hired by Britney as the exec producer.
I have to be fair with this, it wasn't her team's fault.

Her team knew exactly what they were doing? Is that why the original concept was scrapped, producers left unsatisfied with her team and Dr Luke being brought in last minute and Britney rushed to the studio at the end of 2010 to quickly wrap it up? Doesn't seem very planned and organized to me.
Of course they were going to book her for some shows, she's got an album out after all. But 2 televised performances and an MTV documentary aren't going to give her enough exposure for the whole era.
I agree it's Britney's fault as well and she wasn't ready, but again what is her team for if they are going to push her when they clearly see she's not into it at that period of time? They could have postponed the album, but with Jive closing down I could see how that could be a problem.
Dr Luke hired by Britney? You've gotta be kidding if you believe that.
I actually quite like the album, it's the whole era that I had a big problem with. And it's both Britney's and her team's fault.

The whole Femme Fatale era was suppose to be great until Jive basically took over the album. They basically were looking to milk Britney as much as they could before they went out of business completely.

Sorry but the ITZ Era was the last time where everything worked. Music, Tour, Look, Performances, Promo.
Blackout just had epic music.
Circus just had an epic tour.
FF just had a nice promo.

Once again I don't agree . . . I'm not saying her team was brilliant but...
The scrapped sound of the album has nothing to do with her team, Britney's team has always been very supportive with her music, and very respectful as well, if she wants to reject songs like "Umbrella" or "Telehpone" they can't do nothing about it they really support her, the concept was scrapped because of the LABEL , the excecutives of the label, not her team.
Dr.Luke was very controlling the first thing he did was bringing Ke$ha and his people and he left nearly everyone out, "William Orbit" said on his twitter account that Dr.Luke left him out of the album , Britney just trusted in him, since she had a nice experience with him on the "Circus song".
She wasn't booked for tons of events, but they worked, they had good intentions, and they worked hard on something that was productive to her , she didn't appreaciate it , on the few things they booked for her, on the shows and the documental she could at least put effort and make something memorable out of it, those people worked hard and she didn't do her part of the job. its must been frustrating for them.
I agree her team wasn't the best and some things could've been better .... but for me it was primarly Britney's fault (more than any other person).

It's not really that surprising that Britney, who already isn't as into the whole music industry, won't give a damn about the project in which she didn't have much of a say.
And I'm pretty sure it was her team/label's idea to bring Luke into the picture and let him take over the whole project, and not Britney's. How do you know it was entirely her decision to not record Telephone? She turned down Umbrella when she didn't have this team around her, so it's not at all relevant. She doesn't really have as much control over her career right now as you seem to think. She wasn't a co-executive producer on neither Circus or FF, which means she didn't have that much of a say in any of the decisions.
Her team did not do a good job at all promoting the album. Where were billboards, the buzz, special deals/events etc.? What about the rushed announcement of the tour with Enrique, who then backed out a couple of days later? HIAM video coming out more than a month after its release? The era was a mess from her team/label's side just as much as it was from Britney's.

Britney wrote 4 tracks on "Circus" and I'm 100% sure her song "My baby" was included on the album because she demanded it .... any other sane team would have not included that song on the standard edition of an album , Britney was totally involved on the "Circus" process, and "Darkchild and Lady Gaga" said on interviews that Britney rejected the song (Telephone).
and I think she had initial control on "Femme Fatale" but that control faded away as soon as Dr.Luke arrived into the scene , he was extremely controlling , and I don't know who hired him, but I think it was a mutual decission (team, Britney, label) .... Britney met him during "Blackout" (his song didn't make the cut then), she knows the guy since 2006.
All that promo would not mean nothing if Britney wouldn't put effort into it ..... Actually I'm glad there wasn't that much promo since I didn't really wanted to see Britney "not doing that much" on stage anymore.

Oh, no the pressure. Let me figure this out. I don't need to cave in Mariah carey style circa 2001 TRL.

In what world did FF have more promo than Circus?
And the promo she DID do was terrible because she looked fat, bloated and drugged up. Her team definitely dropped the ball but she was definitely the main problem.

I'll never understand why Brit stans say FF had more promo.
Circus had promo performances in the US, Germany, France, UK and Japan PLUS For The Record.
