Shakira doesn't need a second rate copy of a J.Lo music video, she's better than that and you should know 
And in that case I really don't see the director behind it as the main attractor of those views 
I'd rather have the director of La Tortura back 
But I want something colourful for Truth or Dare... maybe David Lachapelle...oh wait, J.Lo used for flop 'Do It Well'  let Shakira 'do it better' as usual

Eventhough the experience of shooting a video with SHAKIRA was one of my life's highlights, eventhough I was there, I don't know what to expect from the video. I am really curious though.
It's a very urban video if we analyze it, which goes to what the song sounds like. Shakira is wearing this black dress (very similar to Gypsy's) and there are severall sets. The problem is the concept itself, I didn't get it. She says something about "Is it true that you love me? I dare you to kiss me, when no one's watching, it's truth or dare on the dancefloor-floor-floor-flo-lfo-floofooofofof" (you knoooow), and in the video it's basically her dancing with dancers and being on the dancefloor but no lover.
Little preview of the video shot: One of the sets is on a green area, similiar to a labyrinth but very tiny, looks "too pretty" for the kind of song, what makes it cooler is when they add those pink and blue smoke, you know? Like Ke$ha did in "Take it Off" or X-Tina in "Your Body";
The other set is in a venue with flowers, people walking around but that one I didn't see at all, I wasn't there;
The other set is in the middle of the road with cars all around with Shakira and like 5 dancers killing the choreography (it reminded me of Britney's Outrageous but less urban);
The last set is in a place called Pavilhão de Portugal, it's really the final shot. It starts with the bridge (the one I wrote before), with Shakira coming alone from the darkness with a lot of people behind her (us), when it gets that "flo-flo-flogkdmflkdfkkml" part everyone that was behind her starts to run like crazy and by the time the chorus starts we are all there like we were in a disco, like dancing and jumping, with a lot of different type of dancers, interacting with her and stuff;
Also in that last part we did a flashmob at the end, the choreography was very simple and a lot of people were dancing there and jumping.
It's an urban video with this happier flavor!

Well, Shakira videos receive a lot of views. She was one of the first hitting the 1 billion views.

From what you describe, it does concern me slightly that the video will be like Loca a bit, and completely irrelevant to the song.
I think she should have an actual club video for a track actually lyrically set in a night club, but who knows?
She was preggers last video, but now she's not, so I think they'll do a new video simply because she can move a lot more now.

No, I'm not that one! I did take a picture with her choreographers in the set of the video but with Shakira it wasn't in the set, my picture with her was in Lisbon airport. It was great, believe me. That guy kind of broke the rules there, LOL. I can't believe he wasn't warned at all. And that picture was on the set of that tiny labyrinth.

Actually, I completely adore "Loca" video, and for me, it fits the song completely, she is LOCA!

Well, the last part is definitely clubish. I have no idea how it's going to look since it was an outside set but had a LOT of lights that make the background dark.

One of Shakira's biggest and more reliable websites, Shakira: Sale El Sol, states that some close person to Shakira delivered, to them, some news about the upcoming era, here's a summary of what they said:
- "Truth Or Dare" will be the new single. It will come out in late-May/early-June;
- The new album is set to be released in the summer (July or August);
- "Truth Or Dare" was produced by Shakira, Jay Singh and co-written by Raelene Arreguin, Jay Singh y John J. Conte Jr.;
- No title has been announced for the spanish version;
- Anthony Mandler directed the video shot in Lisbon;
- The video has been ready for a while now, changes to the original version may happen though;
- Shakira has put a lot of effort and money into this new video so she's probably sticking up with it;
- Fernando Garibay, RedOne, The Runners, Max Martin, Dr. Luke , Afrojack, The Dream and Jay Singh are some of the confirmed producers;
- Sia, Ester Dean and Ne-Yo wrote some material in;
- "Boing per tu" is probably coming out in the deluxe edition of the album;
- Every song has a very unique sound and her voice sounds different in some tunes;
- Live Nation will promote her upcoming tour (Probably in 2014);
- MASSIVE promotion coming in early-Summer (The Voice, Today, Tonight Show, SNL);
