[State of Grace]

On another note(and to all of you talking about turning in stan cards), my mom has cancer and the doctor says that she only has a couple of more months to live so she's been in the hospital. It's been pretty depressing for her in there however a guy came around today with a guitar and played Taylor Swift songs for all of the patients in the cancer ward. He played Love Bible and BeGOD again(my mom's favorite) for her and she was happier today then she's ever been. Her scans have also been better and she may now be released from the hospital this week. I like to think that Taylor helped a little with that. When will the other pop gurls tbh?

SoG I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. My mom had cancer a few years ago and I know what you might be going through. I'm glad that Taylor could make her feel better. She has that affect on people.

It's really amazing just how therapeutic and calming her music is. This guy apparently makes round often and the hospital uses Taylor's music as part of their rehab program. It just made me really happy and proud to be her fan

my aunt was diagnosed with lung caner, and it was caught to late and has started spreading to her other organs. she has already formed a tumor in her brain, i know what you're going through, as they think she won't make it through summer. i will keep you and you family in my thoughts and prayers.


but here's something great. my best friend's grandmother had stage 4 breast cancer and battled it for almost 5 yrs. and never gave up. now, the cancer is fully gone she's been in remission for 3 yrs. miracles do happen, we just have to hope and wait. hang in there. no matter what happens, know that people love and support you.

Thanks guys it means a lot Everybody just has been so down in this base lately and while it isn't an uplifting story it's something to be proud of in Taylor. Other bases like to say that Taylor doesn't have an impact because she doesn't wear crazy fashion or try to start any huge pop culture trends. But I think that Taylor's influence is even greater than that because it touches people in their day to day lives you know? Her influence is very subtle yet strong andI think that is the sign of a great artist; One who doesn't just leave superficial imprints on culture but real imprints on people's daily lives.
