Bruno Mars Interviewed by NME
A small part of the interview:
NME: So Bruno, your single "Jungle City" is getting a lot of airplay especially on the pop radios. It's a very interesting song that talks about a lost love. What do you think your album will have as a success?
Bruno: Well i believe it will have the same success since it's similar. There is no collaborations on it thought. It's like more personal.
NME: It doesn't have collaborations but will you do any collaborations that are not on your album?
Bruno: Actually yes. I've been working on an amazing, sad core love song. I was in the studio with her yesterday to finish recording the vocals. It's really a nice song.
NME: Well we are excited for that song! Who do you think are the best artist in the music industry those days?
Bruno: I really love Lana. She is amazing. But i like Eminem's rap. I am excited to hear his next album. Ke$ha is good too. Avril Lavigne performed at my party the other day she is a really good performer even if i don't really like her music. I met Britney Spears the other day, she is really an interesting person.
NME: Will there be really party songs on your album?
Bruno: Maybe one, but still it isn't pure electronica. I'm trying to stay away from that kind of genre right now.
Zune and Adam ignored my PM about adding 106 & Park weekly
trust me, I would love to add this, even a country music one, but adam and I must discuss this before anything happens (he needs to calculate the cost of points and stuff)
I don't think I'll be able to post it countdown-style or using the [table] BBcode tho, I have other stuff I need to do and besides I have to look through over 30 singles to see which ones will chart.
Rap-Up: Review: MTV EMA's Drake's & Chris Brown's Performance
Quote:
This year show was really great, and we loved our favourites Urban acts of the moment. Chris Brown performed first. He started with a Maniac intro with a Urban twist, then he sang, his new single Too Young To Die. Mac Miller was not here but Eminem replaced him and did a new verse of the song. It was nice to hear Eminem and seeing him live. It was a great surprise.
Then Drake closed the show with his single Far From Over, where he did a more laid back version of the song. A simple guitar, Drake rapping and singing Kelly's part. Everything was just perfect, at the end of the song everybody did a standing ovation, we even saw some tears from the public. And Drake said that it was Far From Over and Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Eminem & Tyga went on stage and Motherf***ing Rapstar started. They all did a freestyle verse of it. THEY KILLED IT ! They did a GREAT JOB !!!
Well it's the EMA's I had to keep the European clock
