My reasoning being;
BTW is the logical lead and it'd have got the negativity out of the way.
TEOG is very well liked and would have been damage control circa album release.
Scheisse would need the VMA platform for exposure incase radio were hesitant.
Y&I was a solid single choice for the US.
HML is popular with casuals and I could see the midtempo synthpop doing well in Europe.
MTN would have the support of more hits in the campaign to help it out.
Hair likely would have done well on radio. She could have released an acoustic version to boost sales.
