Yes because more people listen to pop, which means the song would have bigger impact and because pop fans wouldn't complain about it not being pop the way country fans will inevitably complain that it's not country.

At least Holy Ground can snatch those country field Grammys while IKYWT is submitted for pop and general field.

Guys, as much as I do understand your love for Holy God, I am more than sure it would not appeal to the general public. It's lovely and catchy but not enough memorable and unique. Red should be released as a next pop-country single and then Everything Has Changed or God God God (it's really grown on me )

Holy ground would be a perfect multi format smash imo, but theyre wasting the pop slot on floppy-2, But yes, Id go for HG- Red- ATW as the next singles

I think it can still be sent even if the adds date is after the deadline, because the song is still techincally released right now.

If ATW is released before October then it can be sent for the 2014 Grammy
But if it's released after the deadline, then they will only be able to submit it for 2015 if RED doesn't win any Album Grammys
