I agree with KKCuteCat. Radio is gonna play Avril before it is officially released, anyways.
They might as well toss an adds date out for the week following its' debut or something,
just for an extra spike in spins and attention when it needs it.

Only some stations are eager to play the song before the adds date...That means the little airplay some songs get before it. And with Avril flopping on radio during GL era.

I didnt say the label won't send the song to those stations . They will but many songs are taking off strongly before its adds date. Supper bass and raise your glass for example. My point is there is nothing to worry about the adds date and it looks like Epic know exactly what they're doing with Avtil

Expose makes more sense, while KKCuteCat would run a flop label with flop artists. I mean the adds date not that important for a lead single? Especially for Avril, no one got time to play that **** if they don't have an adds date and a paid HQ mp3 sent to their email by the label. Sit.

MANY songs get spun without official adds. See: Rih's Pour it Up, Ke$ha's C'Mon (was heavily added weeks before release), all Bieber's singles, Harlem Shake... it happens ALL the time.

No one is saying they don't. That to get the maximum potential from the radios and build AI is to have an adds date. If you don't have one, your song won't be played as much as it should be.

Radios play songs before the adds........ that are from POPULAR artists, if they are not, the songs just get some audiences but nothing crazy.
