Basically. She's sold a substantial amount of albums & records. She's already solidified herself in that area.

Mediocre sales or not I'm still going to be a fan as I've been since I was a kid. I hate when people only stan for sales. If that were the case for me I would have stopped using Janet & Brandy long ago.

I would not mind her flopping with an album that sounds like something that was not intended to smash if you know what I mean.

If she makes a personal, sophisticated album and it is not a hit, that's ok BUT if she does an album that's sounds young, hip and commercial - like it is intended to smash - and she flops it is bad.

In the end I care for the music of course.

I agree. I just want her to make honest music that is personal.

I totally get you, I wouldn't stan for Janet if sales was what I was after or Prince for that matter or Madonna nowadays
