I really don't understand why there's not more people on ATRL talking about P!nk. She's SLAYING right now, she's talented, interesting, with a great and fun image... What's not to like? Yet you have talentless garbage like Britney and Rihanna who are worshipped to no end
I don't even know why i still come on ATRL, this place is so depressing most of the times
Sorry the the little rant guys

Oh and I had no idea TTAL was outselling Funhouse by that much. So proud of the US this era!

I love P!nk and used to be obsessed with her, but I've finally decided after 6 months that TTAL is ok but nothing special, probably one of her worst albums. Where is the raw P!nk? Not the lovey-dovey one. The one whose music reeks of pain and angst? Raw music, not music that's overproduced to the hills (I'm looking at you Try). Where's the music with profound lyrics about life. Not ishy soft relationship-related lyrics.
Give me more Dear Diary and DLMGM and Waiting For Love and Who Knew. None of this trashy business.
Best songs on TTAL: Good Old Days, Is This Thing On?, Beam Me Up >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I guess P!nk is going for commercial success now so anyways. She's sacrificing her artistic integrity.

I agree with everything.
I know she's happy and everything but you can do a happy album without being too commercial. Oh lord I could write an essay about this, I guess I just leave it like that for now.

I agree that TTAL is one of her worst albums but i don't think she's sacrificing her artistic integrity. It's a solid pop record and works great for what it's meant to be, as Pink described it: " a fun dancey album but still honest." The songs are relatively lovey-dovey because of where Pink is at in her personal life. She's the happiest she has ever been.
Music doesn't have to be raw or emotional in order to be good music. A song can be about partying and dancing and still be amazing, and an emotional deep song can still suck. Not to mention the album not only got praise from the fans & general public but also by the critics. But at the end of the day, music taste is subjective no matter what

Commercial music is not always bad and experimental music not always good
But i do want her to get rid of Max Martin, Greg Kurstin, Butch Walker & all these ****** mainstream producers.

Okay that was long but I finished listening to the album..
I really loved 'Are We All We Are' , 'True Love' , 'Walk Of Shame' and 'Beam Me Up' (this song actually made me cry )
Well the singles I already know and love! (JGMAR is actually me favorite song right now along with 'Heart Attack')
Oh and I listened to the bunos tracks, they're good, but not more than the tracks I've listed above
I'll give it 7

Greg Kurstin anytime. But I don't get it. The other two can produce songs like Who Knew/Cuz I Can/Please Don't Leave Me and Long Way To Happy/LMAIL/Bad Influence/Mean, but now their songs are getting worse.

Their magic together has burnt out. It's time to move on. How much longer can she work with them? I want her to do the new-main-producer-on-new-album thing.
M!ss was Linda
TT was Tim
TTAL has kind of been Greg
Next one should be someone totally unexpected!

You guys take this commercial talk out of here now... I'll never get why a serious, slow song is always considered better than a party song and this album has everything anyway. You guys just want another Try This which had some great songs but also her worst ones. While TTAL doesn't reinvent the wheel it expands her catalog to some pretty interesting places. But as long as she doesn't release the slow acoustic album we'll get these comments. And while I'm sure most will find it great, brave, ARTISTIC, I really fear it cause Pink can really overwrite her serious songs, just take a listen to Crystal Ball or Conversations, some of her worst songs. And her fans hate on the poppy radio ready stuff, all with great melodies and hooks that go unnoticed by the fans. What she does in Walk of Shame, telling a story with beggining/middle/end, with lyrics that no one else would pull off, great singalong chorus and verses, is pop perfection, all under 3 minutes, and some still call it generic cause it's a happy party song.
