If it was so bad then why did more than 50 million people in the US watch the final episode?

It's like trying to drag Titanic. Yes, it wasn't the best movie and it's overrated to some degree but it's still good and a classic.

Honestly, I don't think it ever sank in for me that they were gay when I was watching as a kid. I don't think I had enough perspective to really understand it. I just watched for Karen.

(Good thing my parents were absentee lol.... there is no way they would have let me watch.)

You say the characters weren't likeable yet everyone loved the 6 of them? That doesn't make much sense.

Looking back I can tell the script wasn't all that and the situations weren't very imaginative but the characters were probably the strongest point, maybe you didn't watch enough episodes. You'd usually say "that's typical Phoebe" or "There he goes Joey being Joey".

NO WAY! You watched that too? That was my all-time favorite show ever.

All this talk about sitcoms make me wonder who out of the boys would make a fantastic actor.

They really are. They are not only hilarious, but the characters are developed and it's so realistic that certain episodes are almost uncomfortable to watch
