1. P!nk - Just Give Me a Reason (feat. Nate Ruess) 1.0000
2 Justin Timberlake - Suit & Tie 0.9129 0.9495 (-0.0366)
3 Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man 0.8308 0.8550 (-0.0242)
4 Rihanna - Stay (feat. Mikky Ekko) 0.7467 0.7783 (-0.0316)

S&T probably has until the end of April to smash, & should see a nice #3 peak (I doubt it will be able to pass Thrift Shop & When I Was Your Man) before Stay inevitably jumps over it again. Only thing blocking it from #3 right now is Fallin' Shake.

Why are all these new American idol finalists such local flops.
Of all the American singing shows, American Idol has by far the best track record. X Factor US/The Voice US have equally horrific track records because neither show has produced a single viable star or record seller, despite the starpower & hit-makers behind the judging panel.

Daughtry was huge but as many other bands they struggled to cater to both Pop and Alternative and ended up flopping with the second album. Jordin Sparks also did way better than I predicted and even if her music career is stagnant, her face is still out there doing movies and theater.

Daughtry's second album went platinum and three top fourty singles. Their third album was the flop
