IAT was in such a league of their own, and Revel/NYE was such a step down. I don't like the way they were nearly all short/swimsuit style legs (unlike a dress, if you get what I mean)
However, the O2 commercial kind of gives me high hopes as well
But ha legs are incredible

I mean, we all have our tastes and preferences and I'm sure that someone will like the DSquared2 costumes, but I prefer Beyonce to be in classier styles that are more mindful of design and show taste. The IAT costumes were fantastic. For my taste, some costumes were off like the wedding dress one and the Diva Lightup one was a bit too cartoony for my liking but for the most part they were great. The Big Bow Body Suit is absolutely stunning. The shaping of those hips!
DSquared2 are slightly street and maybe a bit urban but I'd say it's in more of a Jersey Shore sort of way. It's definately gaudy. A better designer would have been Ricard Tisci who designs for Givenchy (Kanye, Ciara favours this brand and it has been very urban for the past few seasons). The boots she wore for CIL at Barclay's were Givenchy (her top was Proenza Schouler which would also have been a great option instead of DSquared2) and what she wore at the Met Gala was Givenchy and on the cover of Dazed and Confused in 2011 she wore custom made Givenchy.
This is DSquared2 newest campaign. It's not the worst but there's definitely too many elements in my opinion on it and you can see the difference betwen the Givenchy design above and these. It looks a lot cheaper and tackier to me.
I'm just hoping that Beyonce knows what she wants and is having them design it under her direction because I really don't like what they produce on their own.
And like I said I'm hoping she has a different designer for every segment or something because a whole show of this doesn't seem right.
