Am I grading their answers of the in-class assignments?

Yes. You will grade them by this simple method: (1) fully completed, (2) somewhat completed, (3) or incomplete. You don't grade them on correctness.

30/30 points - completed or nearly completed all assignments from the lessons; participated very well in the discussion.

25/30 points - completed or nearly completed all assignments from the lessons; could have participated better.

(2)
20/30 points - completed more than half of all assignments but missing 1/3 of all assignments.

15/30 points - completed less than half of all assignments and missing 2/3 of all assignments.

10/30 points - completed less than 1/3 of all assignments.

I was confused at this bit as well. I was unsure if we just wrote about the topics or if we were waiting on questions.
