WOW!! As many times as I've watched that performance or seen that GIF, I would have never guessed I would speak to someone who was there.
That is incredible!!!
Are you aple to speak on some of the changes that were made from the rehearsals to the actual show. I heard they were changing things last minute?
Also, how was it seeing her LIVE??

OK well first we had two rehearsals. The first was a week before the superbowl on January 27th. We were literally the first ones there (I dont play when it comes to Beyonce) so once we signed in and took a seat inside this warehouse building, we had to wait maybe 2-2.5 hours before everyone else was seated and signed in. Once that happened they gave us a rundown about how lucky we are to be chosen to do this etc etc and that lasted about 30 minutes. So after that, they started to assign us to a section. I was in section AA. We were the group on the front row directly in front of the stage (As shown by picture and the GIF haha). About 1.5 hours later when everyone was assigned we went outside to the parking lot and they started to position us on where we would be. We practiced running to our spots 4-5 times and then they fed us and we went home. In my eyes that rehearsal was pretty basic (Me and my group were from NC so our drive was 14 hours long). So that was that.
The next rehearsal was on Thursday (The 31st of January) and it was a dress rehearsal. We went to the Superdome, ate a meal, and then we were seated while they talked to us. The stage was already set up so we immediately went to our spots. About 45 mins later the lights dimmed and it began!!!
So I know you guys heard about the Chevy Corvette that she was suppose to be in? Well yeah, the video showed a corvette driving around and when it stoppped it switched to the fiery red corvette on stage. Yall, the music started playing and THE CAR LEANED UP AND STARTED BREAKING APART AROUND HER AND SHE WALKED OUT OF IT! (Giving me transformer/Get me bodied teas). Next we heard her sing something but because the sound was projected away from us we could not hear. When I say we could not hear, I mean it. I had to look at youtube to find out that she started with Love on top and we had went through the ENTIRE SHOW 4 TIMES. So yeah she came out and performed in casual outfit at first. As a matter of fact, she was in this outfit (At least the pants) for the first performance.

Even though it was hard to hear we could make out the song she was singing and we sung along with her. Next thing I know it was all over and at the time I was thinking that she was gonna debut the new single so I was like...was that it? I asked a stage crew person if that was all and they said "Yup thats it". Yall....
I WAS LIVID. But anyways, we went through the show 3 more times and the second time she came out in her full outfit with her hair slick on one side and flowing on the other (Like in the espn media day interview). She looked amazing the whole time. Oh yeah, I forgot to say that I got to say hey to Ty her styling because he was literally 2 feet away from me and also to Michelle and Kelly. They were practicing popping up from under the stage. On game day I was SURPRISED that michelle even popped up because at the rehearsals a dancer would pop up and michelle just walked up and switched places with her
During the show however, I had to get ratchet because some hoes tried to push and take my spot and I WAS NOT HAVING IT! The actual halftime show was also the most intense 12 minutes of my life-ESPECIALLY during the DC Medley when the flames came up. It was sooooooo HOT. We could even feel the burst of flames from behind the stage too. The struggle to breathe properly was real.
But yeah sorry about the paper but it was truly a night to remember. There was only like 1200 people in her halftime show and Im glad that me, some of my family, and some of my friends could go. It was AMAZING!
