Well CNN reported that drake and all of Wayne's other friends came and set up a vigil. So I don't think it's look too good.

The fact that this didn't simply blow over already has me creeped out.
So he overdosed and now is in "critical condition".

I never really loved his music but he did so much for Nicki + Drake (and Young Money) that I've always respected him. I hope he is okay.

I doubt this. Yes he put them on but I doubt if neither signed to the label they wouldn't be anywhere today. Drake and Nicki both had huge buzz before they got signed. They might not have been as big as they are today but to say they would be nowhere is a little crazy.
