Making gifs is a major hobby of mine, but I am a relatively recent convert to standom so I don't know a lot about their X Factor run/Up All Night era..... which makes finding specific video's rather difficult. I simply don't have the context.

I first heard of them in September 2011 because I don't live in the UK so I didn't watch UK X Factor and felt out of the loop then although that seems like such a long time ago now Back then they only had one single out so most of their videos online were from x factor and I watched them all immediately because I didn't want to miss anything The funny thing is I don't even think I'm nearly as big a fan as most other people are

lol yeah. I am sure I have watched virtually every video there is of them. My gifing is a fairly recent phenomenon though. Drives me nuts because I KNOW I have seen a certain video before..... but I cannot find it.

I wish more of their X Factor era video's were in HD /sigh.

I didn't become a fan until around the TMH release although I knew about them from social networks and Tumblr for a year or so before that. I just never bothered to look up their music because up to that point I had never actually stanned a male artist (my Itunes is probably 85%+ female once you exclude 1D).

Now I am a pretty hardcore fan though.

Eh you missed nothing of importance in those interviews.

Really they haven't been in any video's worth watching since the TMH promo tour ended.

(Hell, most of their good interviews were from UAN era.)

I miss sincere, fun, interviews . Their answers are far too rehearsed now.

Kelly's interviews are always 100% candid and she has been doing it for over a decade. P!nk too.

Most pop stars are too afraid of saying something unpopular though. Shame really.

I know! One thing I loved about the guys was that they didn't care about all of that.
Like, the concert where they all wore caps with '#Niam', '#Zarry' etc on them. I loved that so much because they could poke fun at it. We saw it didn't affect them, they found it as humorous as we did.

But now... it's a whole different story, unfortunately.

Yeah, hopefully they lighten up about it. I blame the fangirls who take these things WAY too seriously.

(Most problems in life can be traced back to fangirls.)

I am interested to see whether they go from here. If they are going to tone back the homoerotic themes of the band (DON'T DO IT!) they will need to replace it with something else. If they think they can just ride the goodwill that they have from their first two albums for THREE more then they have a reality check incoming imo.

I don't feel like they are doing anything at all right now that is even somewhat creative of unexpected.

I will be so sad if they ever cut out the homoerotic jazz. The amount of times I've turned to almighty ZIAM when I'm upset.
