You may teach anything that's in the left column of this page:
http://www.musicgenreslist.com/
It's a massive list of "List of Type of Music," and the right column are the majors which are the "Genres of Music."
It works by you coming up with 5-10 lesson plans, as you please PM the students the lesson plans. Each plan should have a question on their opinion, no right or wrong answers, they just get credited for answering, there 5 open ended questions are worth 25% for participation, then
the end of 1st week, there is Midterm Quiz/Exam, which is 25 % of the final grade,
then the end of 2nd week, or term, there is a cumulative Final Exam, which is 50% of the final grade.
All students need a 60% to pass. Letter grades are assigned from D to A, with each having a 10% increasing interval from 60-69 is D, then 70 is C, 80 is B, and ... so on, pretty basic with the grading. If you are failing too many students then you are making it too hard, and same otherwise if you are giving easy A's then it's too easy. Find you students and challenge, which is the purpose of this University.
...BUT the grading system is up to you. That was just suggestion. You are ultimately responsible for your students' success.
