This is true all over the world, the vast majority of people would consider a girl who has facial features closer to white people, light skin and light coloured eyes closer to being "beautiful" than a woman who looked like this for example:

But it is held in high regard though. Beyoncé and her Creole roots, Sofia Vegara and her Latin roots, Shakira and her heritage, etc. they are all seen as more beautiful than your cookie cutter pretty white girls like Britney, etc. It's also why Selena seen as more beautiful than Miley or Demi.

anyway beauty may be subjective but the poll is asking who is the standard of beauty, and around the world, it's britney.

Britney wins by default. She's still prettier than Rihanna. Rihanna is HOT, but that does not mean she is as beautiful as Britney.

Mess at the people saying ethnic women aren't a standard of beauty when white women all over the world are tanning, getting butt implants, and getting their hair laid to have all the features black and Hispanic/Latina women have.

It just makes me really uncomfortable to see Britney stans bragging about blue-eyed, blonde-haired, white as snow Britney being the standard of beauty as if it were some kind of accomplishment when it's really the result of pervasive racism.

The fact is that Rihanna is seen as more beautiful all around the world, hence her being more successful. Britney was hot, but now she's just another white girl who doesn't stand out. Rihanna on the other hand captivates with her beauty.

This. Ethnic women are revered for their enticing qualities that make them more SEXUALLY attractive to other people whilst many white women are revered for facial beauty and not seen so commonly as sexual objects. I mean, go to Britney's videos and you get comments like "Beautiful" or "Pretty". Go to one of Rihanna's videos or her Instagram and you get "I want you inside me." (especially with how provocative she is on them ).

Besides Rihanna ain't really that successful in comparison to her peers.
Just look at gaga (who IMO is not attractive at all), yet she's completely demolished Rihanna when it comes to sales/success. Anyways this thread is not about that, so you need to stop bringing it up, tyvm

It's funny cause Britney was brown eyed, tanned and brunette when she debuted and has been widely praised for looking prettier when she recently went back to it.
Stop pushing the racism card just because others don't agree with your opinion.
