What has Selena been involved that's been so big within the last two years? Her break-up with Justin Bieber? The girl hasn't even made headlines while Demi booked The X Factor and opened herself to a WW public. Not to mention her new single went #1 in many many iTunes charts WW and is slaying the radio.
Within the last 6 months. I hear about Demi way more than Selena now.
Not too much on Selena. She did make headlines when her and Justin split so I guess that's something impressive on her part. Plus she covered Bazaar magazine this month where Justin's name was on the cover yet again. It's clearly not 2011 anymore where she peaked (so far), but she's still in the media.
