Rumor was Rihanna was getting sick and almost cancelled, cos she didn't come on stage until 10:15. She sang live not even 50% of the songs. Most of it was backing vocals and backup singers, and she had the audience sing...A LOT. I understand when artists hold the mic out to get the crowd going, but not three times. For every song. Her dancing was mediocre, as well, almost Britney-esque.
However, it was opening night, and she actually said "There will never be another opening night, so Buffalo, you're very special to me, and you're all very forgiving" which got me a little teary-eyed. I don't know what she meant by forgiving, though; maybe starting so late. Oh well.
