I'm not upset, I just don't get it. And Xtina gets dragged alot more than most peoples faves. I've never seen Rihanna or Britney dragged nearly as much as Xtina. It doesn't upset me, I just dont understand.

I'm not saying they don't get dragged, but everyone of every fanbase seems to have a thing for dragging X at every chance they get. I'm not trying to play victim or whatever. I understand others get dragged alot too.
I've always wondered the same thing. I like Xtina, and people who drag her because of her weight and last 2 albums are an absolute mess because they know once upon ago they use to stan her and they also know if she ever made a successful album again they'd be crawling right back and as for saying they don't like her attitude.. if you're only saying you "don't like her attitude" because of what a celeb has said then just be quiet.
Honestly her and Mariah are very similar..
Both have amazing voices that are now worn out.
Both were extremely successful but cannot compete with the pop girls in todays market.
Both used to look stunning but have now gained weight and not aged very well.
Both have Diva attitudes.
Both oversing
Both are talent show judges.
So i don't see why Xtina gets attacked more. Maybe because she's more pop and associated with Britney Spears, while Mariah was never really a pop star.
For now her music isn't good enough for ATRL because she's flopping. That automatically makes her a joke, even though they stan for some pretty embarrassing folks. But as soon as she gets a #1 hit they'll love her again.

You make great points, but I do not agree with you saying Christina has aged badly. She has not aged badly at all, she looks great for her age. A lot of Christina's issues can be resolved once she gets it together again.

Well yeah she's still beautiful, but i found her much more attractive than Britney in their Teen years, and now i'd say they both look equally attractive. It's probably just the weight. if she lost 10 pounds she'd look gorg.
She's such an easy target in every category. I mean, the fact that she left The Voice to focus on her music career and unfortunately flopped is just wow. Also, everything started with Lady GaGa comparisons when Not Myself Tonight came out. It looks like it destroyed her whole career. She's now become a puppet that everyone picked on.
And a career that could've been huge? Lol... it was. She's now just declining because she can't match her past success, but then again what musician in the game for a decade+ still sells the same as they did during their peak? Now go pop a muscle relaxer and calm down, sweetie.

Most of them are obsessed teenagers that can't get over "pop divas" world. There is no denying she looks much better thin, extra weight doesn't suit her small frame. People forget how short she is. She looked amazing during season two of The Voice.

Every pop artist gets dragged. But if Christina's likeability factor was higher, she probably wouldn't be such an easy target. Also, there is the tendency to pile-on or kick someone while they're down (especially if they're not known for being particularly warm), and Christina has been down a long time.

LOL! So you mean Shakira relies on her look? You really don't know her... Shakira's career is more than fine compared to Christina's. She may have been flopping in the US since She Wolf but, outside of the US, it's another story and probably already know that. Shakira's even fine in Canada. Talent and having a "career" are two different things. There are many great singers out there with an amazing voice who can't still have a successful career but it doesn't mean that they're not talented. Also, it's not just about being talented, it's about the whole package. I didn't mean to say Christina's career is destroyed, but Lotus wasn't... I don't know I say that, maybe it wasn't current enough. That's personal, for me, everything went down when people started comparing her to GaGa. That's just how I see things...
Trust me, she knows she has an album that's flopping and she's not the one who decides to promote the album. If it was up to her, she'd be promoting Lotus in every TV show in the US. Sony Music makes all the decisions and only promotes albums at their beginning. Once it starts flopping, they neglect it. I know these stuff because it's happened to so many artists signed to Sony (including Shakira). I know she wanted to go on tour but she can't. Artists can't go on tour without a hit single, that's how it works. I read an article about that. It's kind of surprising because Shakira went on tour with a flop album but her tour managed to gross more than $100 million.
That being said, anything is over. She can still rise above and be successful again if she releases a new album. I wasn't really impressed with her last album. For me, Bionic was better.
