18 #1s for the reason already stated by my fellow lambs and co.

Poor baby being clocked left and right.
Sis, please no one's owning me. They have to impress me with their argument.
They're the ones who strayed from my main point: Mariah Carey's most memorable material is AIWFCIY, a Christmas song - which sort of signifies that her 18 #1's are forgettable
someone has YET to comment on that besides the wack evidence of the 'numerous' of covers
1.I don't know how my age changes anything, because my point still stands that AIWFCIY is Mariah Carey's most memorable material in her entire career WORLDWIDE, but since you're on your knees begging for my age, I'm 15
2. nah, I listen to dogs bark for entertainment
So, you were either born in 97 going on 16 this year or turned 15 and born in '98 and you're gonna make statements about G0D her impact? I am DONE. You're gonna tell us which #1 is her most remembered WORLDWIDE and which ones are not when every song you've said so far is older than you? You're gonna tell us which songs are forgettable all the while listing songs older than your conception date? If that's not impact on the next generation.
Let's get into G0D her #1 single in 1997:
Let's get into G0D her #1 single of 1998:
Songs you remember despite being your age or similar, but yes keep spilling tea on how forgotten of a singer she is. Tell us more about her impact!
You're contradicting yourself. You're the one who brought up Madonna
In addition to the delusions and contradictions you need to work out, you need to improve your reading skills as well because I'm the one who brought up the that person with the less memorable songs than Mariah!
No one takes your post as credible boo. Get out of this thread. Next
Shall we discuss the difference between scoring a #1 BEFORE the digital era and now?
People using Madonna, The Beatles, Michael Jackson and such to proove any point are really not taking into consideration how relatively irrelevant it is nowadays to score a Hot 100 #1.

Who's to say that artist wants to touch a lot of people, it depends on the person...

As a professional artist your job is to get people to like you. You might not care about appealing to the GP, but you're not gonna be disappointed whenever someone likes what you do. And you're not going to deny someone the opportunity to see you in concert or buy your album.

I am HOLLERING.
My bday's the day after Xmas, so I turned 15 last year. But anyway -
no Mariah Carey stan has gone against what I said so far: Which was AIWFCIY is her most memorable material in her entire career. I have to admit, that song is probably the most played Christmas anthem ever
and her #1's extend from the 80's to present day 00's - you'd have to be older than 30 to have some credibility for what you're trying to get at, launching at me for being 'young' because some of her songs are older than me I could care less if they are or not, my point still stands, and so far, even her fans have agreed with me.

When G0D got her #1's the way Billboard worked was completely different, there was no YouTube, no memes, features wasn't ****, etc.
Let me just end my time here by saying having 18 #1's spreading throughout a decade and beyond is more impressive than a trillion Grammys because it is.

I'm not contradicting myself though I'm not the one who brought up other artists at first. My main point started off with that AIWFKIY is her most memorable material - a Christmas song, which obviously can say that her 18 #1's are forgettable if a CHRISTMAS song is used more than any of her #1's
I misread then mb. I can admit to a mistake, but pointing out critical errors is the most pathetic form of a comeback I could easily point out flaws in your post if I was trying that hard to snap at you
Doesn't need to be credible I don't care if it's credible or not
AIWFCIY is big because it is a holiday anthem.
She's gonna make a bunch of money off of it for the rest of her life, true.
It is her most successful song sales wise, but not chart wise, sales wise, but not her most covered, sales wise, but not her most acclaimed, sales wise, but not her most influential, etc.
You really don't get it.
But as I said in my previous post, I'm done with this argument.
That's common sense people at my school were spamming that song on their iPods, and even the morning/afternoon news at my school and on TV played that song for the entire month of December
no other song comes close..and everyone knows that. It's nothing new, and I never denied it
