These date so far back, whether they were actually black as per modern American concepts of the same is an open and probably unknowable question. Just as likely, if not more likely, they looked like generically Mediterranean caucasians.

That is NOT true. And there is no place in the Bible where it is written that God said he hated Gay people. There is a mention of God burning a whole city called Sodom & Gomorrah but that wasn't because peopel were Gay, that was because people will meet in one place and all sleep with one another (what we call orgies nowadays) and the attention was on the fact that most of those people were married thus committing adultery.

Well, religion IS the root of gay hatred and the main text used to support anti-gay views, so it's not too far-fetched to side eye a gay person that openly supports it. I don't understand how any gay or bi-sexual person can support a religion that openly berates you, and prevents you from enjoying true freedom, in every sense of the word.

Religion is a HUMAN's concept, so on that ground it's flawed. There is not one religion with the absolute truth, there might just be one who follows God' precept better and value love among anything. Still hasn't found it but I do have faith, I do read the Bible and I do believe in Christ.

There is no way being Gay is wrong simply because before some men re-wrote the history after Jesus's death there is no mention in early history of somebody being killed because he loved a person from the same sex. Actually before Jesus' arrival, women were so looked down upon that a man had more value when he was with another man than when he was with a woman.
