"We Belong Together" didn't slip from billboards end of decade list as number one songs.

"Heartbreaker" gave Jay z his first number one song and the first Rap/Sung song to reach number one.

"Vision Of Love" revamped the game in the 90's.

"One Sweet Day" longest running song on BH 100.

But since you saying (almost) i could say the same but not all maybe 3 or 4.

I have seen people on here say this too many times and it still baffles me. Exactly, HOW is it a bad thing to have a classic holiday song in one's discography? HOW?

I would think an artist would kill to have a song, holiday or otherwise, that will stand the test of time not only making them a bunch of $$$, but being covered and remembered by generation after generation.

Are these songs worthless, too? Are Nat, or Frank frowned upon for having well known holiday songs?

I do find it funny how you act as if you can speak for everyone, when I know people who couldn't name 3 of your fave's songs. The fact of the matter is people still cover Mariah's songs all over the world some 23 years after her career began. People of ALL ages, RACES, CULTURES, and GENDERS.

Aren't you the same person who made that (appropriately closed) thread about Mariah having no influence? Or was it impact? What? All I hear people trying to cover is Fantasy & WBT. Of course people do covers of all her #1's - but not as much as you're exaggerating it to be

anyway, as I said, her Christmas song is more memorable than all of her albums and singles combined. The only thing that my grandmother may remember is Fantasy - which even that is a risk
