I don't know if it gets use competitively, but it has great stats and can transform from Psychic/Normal (special attacker) to Fighting/Normal (physical attacker.) It's definitely good and worth getting.

I think you can park outside a Gamestop and get their WiFi without actually having to go through the awkwardness of going in, pulling out your DS and downloading a Pokemon.
