My favorite pre-Blackout album is Britney.

Flawless album is flawless.

Oops! is definitely underrated by fans, though. They always say that her first 2 albums are full of filler but Oops! has little to no filler. The only distinct filler track is Dear Diary. The rest are enjoyable. Not to mention, those cute little spoken interludes in between the songs and in the beginning of some.
I love those la la la's at the beginning of Satisfaction. I re-listen to the song just for those measly 10 seconds. I have no idea why I like that so much.
It's the only Britney album I have yet to purchase because I can not find it anywhere.

I wish...this is just wishful thinking on my part but I really have a hard time believing that they would show her in the studio with Rodney Jerkins in the fall, have time in the studio in the winter have a global smash in the winter announce the residency late winter just to release in November.
I think they will serve an urban pop dance single geared for the summer. The summer is the easiest time to get people on your side (which is why there are so many one hit wonders). A hit single (especially as a lead will be easy). I think that if she has a dance summer smash and then a mid tempo by the time the residency happens she has two-three singles that can entice fairweathers to contemplate supporting her tour.
It seems logical for a May first single release and at least one mid tempo or ballad before she starts the residency.
I also expect some sort of documentary of her gearing up for Vegas, too.

LOL. I love that she is actually driving. That clip in for the record made me almost cry that she was so happy to drive. I mean, we really do take simple things for granted.

Worth noting, not sure if already posted, Scream and Shout has been certified 4x Platinum in Australia. That's the biggest certification from the single thus far.

Does anyone know where I can find official #'s for the dates of the FFT? Like gross per show and how much of it was sold out. The list on Wikipedia is really short. I wanted to see how she did in Europe and the rest of the US.

First of all AS USUAL, Britney was going to be ahead of the return of urban to mainstream.
I knew that she recorded trouble for me first and with her working with Rodney Jerkins she was possibly aiming for more urban sounds. I guess that's why Selfish, he about to lose me, up n down were songs that were on the deluxe versions.

It appears that she possibly was so distant from FF because it wasn't what she wanted it to be.
August 2010 the sound changed and Dr. Luke gave us GREAT generic but still generic dance.
Win-win: She's credited for introducing dubstep and has some urban flares here and there.
I still would have liked the urban route but she will most likely do it now and Rihanna will take the credit for having the urban sound back to mainstream.

I guess it's going to be Britney's thing to make sure she puts her signature on this change.
I have 100% faith.

I have faith that Britney's team finally realizes that generic dance doesn't sell albums anymore. I think the fact that FF happened and under performed allowed those around Britney to let her pursue her own musical ventures and that's why I'm really excited for this album. I mean, already she's gone into the studio ON HER OWN and recorded a song for her boys. I think she's motivated for this and I can't wait for the final results!

Also, I still think the album is yet to enter the finishing stages. I'm sure a fall release is still likely.

"Over to you now" is not an unreleased track. The song is officialy included on her bonus EP disc from the "Chotic DVD" as an european bonus track, the disc also includes "Mona Lisa", "Someday (I will understand)" and "Chaotic".

It says on Wikipedia that it was produced by Guy Sigsworth. She needs to work with him again. I didn't know he could do electronic so flawlessly. Excluding this song, he's only done ballads with Britney.

"Can't make you love me" is a standout track from "Oops I did it again", its definately not a filler.

What I like about the "Oops I did it again" album is that it features strong messages without being too serious or deep and the listener can still have fun. "Oops" is an album that shows on its lyrics that money can't buy love ("Cant make you love me), Fame doesn't make you happy ("Lucky"), people must accept and take you the way you are ("What U see is what u get), You will be stronger someday ("Stronger"), etc, etc

its a really cool and cute album that has certain more substance on its lyrical content than any other Britney album.
