The moment GOF goes Top 10 is the moment Billboard will stop crediting the Inferno version as the main version.
I know how they are.
Well I don't know why Nicki Minaj is still credited tbh. The solo version is the one selling the most and it has been that way for so many weeks already.
GOF's total sales are almost split 1/2 and 1/2. It crossed the 1M mark when the inferno version was selling more, then the solo version slowly started to take over
Scream & Shouts longevity near the top has been amazing! I feel like it could be Britney's first four million seller! I bet it peaks at #2 on the Hot 100. Shame it won't be #1, but that's the way things are going to be if you don't promote.
I'm so glad the Grammys are tomorrow. The state of the chart is quite sad. Aside from the obvious # of fewer than 10 songs selling 100k, the #1 song has a 41% lead over #2 and STILL has another version of itself at #7 and climbing. Shows how there are just such a small number of songs selling solidly.
Last year we didn't have a week with fewer than 10 100k sellers until a late May chart. Then after that, a late July chart. I wonder if digital sales are now at their peak.
