Young Money always uses this strategy on purpose. They release their high-profile artists singles mid-week so that the song is already high by the time it gets a banner and has more awareness. They do it frequently for Wayne.
I'm not surprised, though. There's not that much hype around SFTB's release.
Headlines went Top 3 when it was released, right? I remember Make Me Proud also shot into the Top 10 after SNL.
I think Make Me Proud got to #1 on iTunes. It was released the same week as a Justin Bieber song, and it replaced it at #1.
