Not really.. a sleeper hit would be like "Pumped Up Kicks," "Ho Hey," etc. Something that took a while and finally exploded. "GoF" hasn't really surprised or done anything significant and I don't think it will. It's more of just a moderate success, not really some big smash that shocked us all.
If you're referring to its late arrival to pop, that's the norm for those type songs. It has gone further than say "Climax," "Adorn" on the Top 40 so I guess that's something it can be proud of.
