The Venetian is beautiful. That would work as well.
But we fans have no business over that, so it bugs me when people say "oh, it's 100 million, she could perform on some drug alley and it would be more than fine for her".
Some of you need to stfu. "It's not all about the money"... NOBODY would take down an offer of 100m, it's just that they don't get it like Britney does. "Her team only cares for the money." NO. Britney does too, even if it's not the only thing she cares about. I'm sure all of you would as well if you were pop stars.
For me it's FAR from being about what the disgusting part of the ATRL members think - It's about such a bland song out-peaking and out-selling her real great tunes.
I'm sure the others who agree with me think the same way.
It's a simple Las Vegas residency and I bet y'all be dandy with it if it was Celine, Cher, and Shania performing @ Planet Hollywood and if Caesars Palace offered it to Britney if their resident performers were Cee Lo and Coco y'all would condemn it just as much. I think the venue itself makes a minimal difference and Britney's legacy won't be tainted simply because she's performing at a different hotel than expected. Gosh. I care more about the SHOW itself and the quality of her stage, performances, and production than I do about where they are held.
Why do you guys hate that SS is having so much success? Who cares if it's not technically her song, HER NAME is one of the reasons why it is so big. Also, it's giving her so much WW exposure which will result in a increase of sales for her next album.
Because it's NOT all about money, THAT is the problem with her team lately and their stupid ass decisions.
Planet Hollywood remains basic and irrelevant. She's above it and filthy rich already. Not to mention that once again, if it really does start in Spring like reported, it will do nothing good for her next album. Touring worldwide was the only international promo she's bothered to do in the past 5 years and now that that's gone she'll have absolutely nothing and her status in several markets will continue to fade. Of course we'll have to see how it plays out first before we fully judge anything but I just don't see it working or going well.
Platinum is Platinum! It's never bad.
