I get frustrated with how hard Idol pushes for Phil etc in commercials and whatever.

But then I thought more about it. It makes sense. Kelly has already made it. She doesn't really need their promotion. They will always be able to fall back on her as an Idol success. Phil for example, is at a critical moment where he has a lot of steam but it could die at any point. They need a recent success from Idol to boast about.

It's actually from last week. I think they went for an all out promo during the final week, because it appeared daily on Billboard for six days.

It only gains 40 spins a day on pop. It really needs to start 100 + spins gains, otherwise there's not much more room for it to grow.
