It's a million times more likely that she dates these guys because she wants to, not because of some weird PR setup. It would have been obvious to her team before Styles that another high-profile romance or break-up would be bad for her public image. According to Us Weekly, Taylor didn't want to end it with him:

The star was later seen looking miserable after jetting back to the US leaving Harry to party on Necker Island with Richard Branson. But rather than a clean break, the 22 year-old was reportedly trying to make him apologise, but it didn't exactly have the desired effect. “She wanted to teach Harry a lesson; she expected him to call and apologize,” the insider said. “He didn’t.”
Since they parted Taylor has reportedly been desperate to get the 'Kiss You' singer back, with the source claiming she's “a wreck and torn up,” over the split and is bombarding him with calls and text. But will they? The close source claims he's not so sure as, “thinks she’s too emotional.”

And this afternoon, as duty-bound Taylor Swift–rumor archivists, we began our analysis of each of the iffy details offered by the article’s vague sources.
(Excerpts from Radar Online’s report are in bold, followed by our hard-hitting analysis.)
1. Taylor Swift wants to hook up with Bradley Cooper, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. And now the superstar singer has asked pal Jennifer Lawrence to introduce her to Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley.
After multiple re-readings, note Radar Online’s use of the phrase “hook up” and its contradictory nature in the rest of the report. Also, while Swift and Lawrence are both linked by The Hunger Games, are they actual pals? Aside from one photo in which the pair shares matching blond side braids and bangs, our Internet search suggests “no.” Swift has cited Lawrence as her favorite actress, though, and we all know how Taylor Swift fixations go . . .
2. The newly single 23-year-old country music singer desperately wants to date the hunky Hangover actor and has begged Jennifer, 22, to set up them up.
However, when Jennifer sounded Bradley, 38, out about Taylor he said he wasn’t interested and that she was too young for him!
First, can we give Bradley Cooper a little respect and credit him with the film for which he is currently Oscar nominated? Second, although this passage does have a sliver of credibility (the ages of each subject are correctly reported), we cannot possibly understand a world in which Taylor Swift asks the actress whom Bradley Cooper was rumored to be dating to set her up with Bradley Cooper.
3. “Bradley has absolutely no intention of getting together with Taylor,” a source told RadarOnline.com.
First of all, her reputation precedes her. Bradley is very wary of dating someone who is a bit of a serial dater like Taylor.
“He thinks she’s far too young for him and wants to date someone his own age, not 16-years younger because he’s ready for something serious.
Who from Bradley Cooper’s camp is apparently leaking this very pro–Bradley Cooper story? Is this a means of appealing to gossip-minded Academy readers? If so, you forgot to mention Silver Linings Playbook.
4. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Taylor’s back on the market again after she was dumped by One Direction’s Harry Styles because she wouldn’t, um, keep up with him sexually.
“Taylor is so concerned that the public will think she’s promiscuous because she dates around, that she doesn’t put out,” a pal close to the We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together singer told RadarOnline.com.
Radar Online apparently conferred with another source on this matter. Surprisingly, Taylor's pal* would like to right all of those promiscuous-reputation wrongs by alleging that the Grammy winner doesn’t put out. On a related note, Bruce Handy adds, “Sounds like a publicist, because does anyone under the age of 40 still say ‘put out’?” (*VF.com conspiracy theory: What if the Taylor's “paul” quoted here is actually Jennifer Lawrence, who is also identified in the article as Swift's “pal,” and fabricating relationship rumors for Radar Online is just what the actress does on a Tuesday?)
5. “What she doesn’t get is that the guys keep dumping her because she’s being a prude.”
A promiscuity motive! Well played, Taylor pal/publicist.
6. Another source says the fact that she constantly talked about antiques was another turn-off for the young singer!
[Immediately enlists Ryan Gosling to create a needlepoint sampler containing this very sentence.] Bruce Handy adds, “Yeah, I call ********. Because what boy-band singer DOESN’T love antiques?! Maybe it was she’s more into midcentury modern, but he’s all Biedermeier.”
7. “Harry found Taylor a little sexually uninterested,” a source close to the star revealed.
While it was clear she obviously had a thing for Harry, Taylor didn’t want to put out as often as he would’ve liked. Harry is a young boy, with ladies throwing themselves at him and has had a string of relationships with older women.
What person/publicist close to Taylor suggests that their friend/client is sexually uninteresting, even if vying for sympathy? (In other news, way to throw Harry Styles under the tour bus with damning allegations that he is sexually active.) In conclusion, we are kind of riveted by how this tabloid piece started out pro–Bradley Cooper but then, in a surprise third-act plot twist, suddenly became pro–Taylor Swift and subtly pro-abstinence. Maybe we shouldn’t underestimate Radar Online’s partially riveting, fan-fiction-esque reports in the future.

The lack of AC success really hurt SN. Selling 4 million with the lack of crossover success was impressive. In fact this era will have two out of 3 of her biggest radio hits yet looks like it will sell around the same as SN in the US.
