I can't tell my dad or his family just yet. They're all Croatians, and follow very strict traditions. If I were to come out, my dad would most likely kill me or basically banish me from his family. He's the most homophobic guy I've met, and has raised by siblings to be homophobic to.

My dad isn't Croatian, but we're Blasian and more entwined in "black culture" so he's kind of ghetto and pig headed. I know he's homophobic but I still have a rather nice relationship with him atm

I already have a struggeling relationship with my father. I don't know how many times he's said to his friends and myself that he's disappointed in how "girly" I've grown up to be and doesn't acknowledge and of my achievments in life. He constantly insults me for the music I listen to, my habits, everything - it's pathetic. He once even told me the only reason he still allows me to go to this house is because "I haven't came out to him yet" so I'm terrified to let him know.
