I can't at people comparing an endorsement deal to a Vegas residency. They signify two different career paths.

Britney is doing a Vegas headlining act. Performing a certain amount of times a week, for an extended amount of time for $100+. Beyoncé is endorsed by Pepsi. All she has to do is take pictures, and film commercials and she is getting $50M. They are the farthest things to compare and gloat over. Just stop. Both deals are great and very different.

I could care less how much she is getting from the deal. The fact that she has the deal is what matters! Beyoncé is RICH already!

They are two VERY different things. When Beyoncé gets a residency at a hotel then we can talk.

This 100 million is for a residency, it's replacing her touring... If she got any less than 100 million dollars it wouldn't be worth it?


The pepsi deal isn't supplementing anything.

This is ridiculous. How in the heck is she gonna do a "Celine Dion-type" show? For one thing, she can't sing. For another, the type show she does/did isn't gonna work in Vegas. The people who go to Vegas aren't gonna pay $100 (at least, probably) to see someone who lip-syncs and prances (not dances) around a stage.

May- She'd receive her Billboard Lifetime achievement award in May and perform her new single.
Kill it in a good way and then the audience would remember her for a good performance.

July- I hope she can score $150M and kickoff the Vegas thing starting in July 2013-July 2014.

August/September- album release

VMA attendance, AMA performance, Grammy's performance, etc.

End era December 2014.
